Of course this area has the government services you would expect living in the Chevy Chase area. While vacationing you may drop off your keys with the police department who will check on your home until you return. There is also a Village Crier, which includes listings of teens available for pet care and babysitting.
The Village Hall featues yoga classes, book drives, and toddler groups. There is also a committee to help neighborhood kids get to know each other. The committee hosts movie nights, magic shows, and volunteer events at food kitchens, and it recently offered babysitting for a "parents' night out." There is also a Chevy Chase Club closeby for residents.
