Crestwood is a residential neighborhood located in northwest Washington, D.C. Bound on the north, west and south by Rock Creek Park, Crestwood includes all the homes to 16th Street NW. Unlike many communities that have their own business districts, this neighborhood is full of residential properties. It is also part of the city’s Ward 4.
Residents can enjoy close proximity to venues and shopping in adjacent communities without dealing with the connecting traffic. Driving 15 minutes in either direction, residents can get to the K Street business district or Silver Spring, Md. The community is served by the WMATA Metro buses that run along 16th Street and the Georgia Avenue-Petworth Metrorail station. The Carter Barron Amphitheatre and William H.G. Fitzgerald Tennis Center are located north of Crestwood in Rock Creek Park.
